- Responsible for the technical integrity of the tactical simulation facility,
accountable for the financial recovery of the hardware and software aspects of
the facility.
- Responsible for the ‘New Methods and Tools’ assignment within the governments
Defence research programme, coordinating projects with a limit of liability of £2m.
- Successfully supervised 15 simulation exercises. Producing tactical scenario
frameworks for 5 major CDA(Land/Air) studies, providing data by fixed deadlines,
annually reducing costs culminating in savings of up to 30% per exercise.
- Managed a scalable mixed military and civilian team, providing current military
expertise, analytical and software support for the facility.
- Promoted the use of COTS applications and pioneered tools that enabled the
concurrent analysis of event data while the simulation facility was in use,
enhancing direct decision support to simulation exercises.
